Kogarah Bay

SAILABILITY – SAILING FOR THE DISABLED Set Sail at Kogarah Bay Sailing Club with Sailability Sailability is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation which, through the activity of sailing, enriches the lives of people with any type of disability. In 1991 Sailability was introduced to Australia and now there are over fifty groups covering every State and Territory.

In 2010 KBSC were awarded the ‘2010 Sydney South Volunteer Team of the Year’ for their efforts in this wonderful activity. Where is it run? Sailability operates from the Kogarah Bay Sailing Club at the southern end of Dover Park, Blakehurst, with easy parking and good wheel-chair access run by friendly volunteers.

When is it run? Sailability is on every Wednesday in the school term for prebooked local schools. These events are not available for the general public, however, we are occasionally running sailing on Saturdays and during school holidays time for people with a disability.

If you want to be notified of events contact anyone on the list below. We will then add your name to our contact list.

Coast is $15 and the time is from 9 am to 12 noon.
